Hi,

I'm trying to connect from my C# .NET environment.

- As far as I understood WM_MOUSEMOVE events will indicate the status of the connection to IQFeed servers.
- I have to register the window handle receiving the WM_MOUSEMOVE events by calling RegisterClientApp.

Is this correct or did I miss something ?

Here is what I did:
- I created some control in C#.
- I registered a mosue move event handler for this control in C#.
- I called the RegisterClientApp method in IQ32.dll (no COM!) and passed the control's window handle.

Although login to "IQ Connection Manager" is successful, I don't get any mouse move events. Shouldn't I ?

Any comment is appreciated.

Yes. The WM_MOUSEMOVE event provides the status of IQFeed, and you do call RegisterClientApp with the window handle of where the WM_MOUSEMOVE is defined.

Yes, you should get a MouseMove event.

We don't have an example app that does exactly what you need, but you may find the answer in one of our examples that are installed with the developer install. Thanks!
