Sorry for the delay in this one Dierk,
The max number of symbols a user can watch is based on the subscription level . IQFeed users can watch 500, while DTN.IQ can watch 1300.
Other than the above limit, Level II doesn't have any other specific limit. However, in practical use you won't be able to watch more than say 10-20 level II symbols at a time due to sheer volume of data and updates. It is definately dependant on the users machine. I have had upwards of 50 level II screens running as a test, but it wasn't too pretty.
You can tell how many symbols your account is authorized for by looking at the connection manager (in the system tray) after you login. It will show Maximum Symbols as well as other stats that may be of use.
