qinliu -Interested User- Posts: 3 Joined: Jun 16, 2009	Posted: Jun 16, 2009 02:59 AM Msg. 1 of 7 I'm trying to access level 1 data from linux, it seems the easiest way would be to start IQConnect with the API on a windows machine and then connect to it at port 5009 from the linux machine. But so far IQConnect is refusing connection, can this be enabled?

It's easy enough to setup a tcp/ip tunnel to bypass this. Perhaps it makes sense to allow access from any remote server, but only one connection.

In addition, you have contracts with DTN and the exchanges that don't allow you to distribute the data from one machine to another without additional re-distribution agreements and fees. It doesn't make sense for us to provide access to a remote server because this isn't allowed under these agreements. Jay Froscheiser DTN
