Hi - when I have a basic stock chart up(say, daily of 'AAPL') and I position the cursor on that day, up pops a window with relevant info(Stock name, date, Hi/Lo, Open, Last, etc). Just as expected.

However, I'd like to see an option added that would allow me to 'lock in' this pop window, so that it doesn't fade away after a few seconds. This way, if I wanted to have the chart show several days info via the pop windows, ALL of these windows would display concurrently. For example, maybe show the first trading day of the month for several months. This would result in the chart having the pop up windows for maybe Feb 1, Mar 1, Apr 1, etc, and the windows would remain displayed until I turned them off or maybe until I redraw the chart.

If you can't/won't implement this chain, how about allowing us to specify a 'fade interval' instead of living with the current fade after just a few seconds. Maybe I could set the fade interval to 120 seconds, pop up the windows I want, look at 'em for a while, and have them fade away in 120 seconds.

This code change would need to take into account basic cursor movement, so that I don't accidentally trigger unwanted pop up windows as I'm moving from one date to another. Maybe force the cursor to hover over a date for a long enough(but still short) interval to indicate that -this- date should have the window popped up.

Currently, if I want to compare say, two different day's windows, I have to constantly move the cursor from one to another, hoping I can do it quickly enough before each window fades away. Real pain in the butt.

Oops, typo:

'If you can't/won't implement this chain' should be:

'If you can't/won't implement this change'

Be nice if there was an edit function for this board...

And, actually, moving the cursor quickly between two different dates means the window fades away as soon as the cursor moves off of a date. So, I wrote the above incorrectly; there is NO way to have pop up windows show for two dates at the same time...(but, would be nice )
