PhX just barfed on me and when it came back up a few secs later, it had switched servers.
Before: 66.112.149.72
After: 66.112.149.74

This is extremely disruptive to my trading setup, if it occurs -during- the trading day.

I had gone around & around about this w/support a while back, with not much help, so I setup a continuous ping routine to tickle the server, so as to(hopefully) prevent a timeout.

Now I see that for some reason, my account was switched from one server/ip address to another, dynamically. Problem is, my charts crap out and it's usually somewhat of a mess when it comes back up again. I run a lot of other stuff on my multi-monitor platform and having charts up and down messes with the overall display.

This usually occurs 2-3 times per week, during trading hours. Thing is, I run about six detached charts; that's IT...not much here that oughta be causing problems.

The ping routine is continuous, to whatever server PhX is hooked up to on a particular day, so I don't think there is a dropped network connection.

So, how do I prevent this?

Hello AMA,

I have requested for the operations team to review the logout conditions over recent history to see if we can identify any anomalies. I'll get back with you to discuss once I get their feedback.
