Hello,

I am developing a DDE client in C . I can send symbols request and get back data using this program. I would like to know if anyone can tell me how to delete symbols without shutting down the IQLink program. If you look at the log file in the Iqlink dir, you can watch as symbols are added and deleted by the DDE_IQLink macro. I am trying to figure out a way to delete the symbols that are being 'Watched' under software control. I would really appreciate any help if someone knows how to do this.

Thanks

Thanks for your help!

If there is a DDE command in C to start a DDE conversation, then there should be one to stop the DDE conversation I would assume. The macro in Excel doesn't do any actually watching or unwatching, it just creates formulas in cells in Excel. Excel does the actual watching and unwatching.

If you are using C, you would be better off just geting the IQFeed API so you can access the data in a MUCH more efficient manner than DDE. Our developer support group would then be able to better assist you when you have issues.
