Yes. This was caused by issues with the exchange feed.

- Has/will it been rectified?
The data cannot be corrected, there is no source of data to correct from as it was bad from the exchange. But yes the exchange has fixed its issues.

- Does it affect other symbols?
Yes, this could have occurred for any NYSE/NYSE American/ARCA/BATS stocks.

Most likely you are seeing regional market quotes updating in the streaming feed. These quotes are not stored in the tick history, only the best bid/ask at the time of the trade are stored and the bed bid was stuck during this time due to the issues at the exchange. Please see listed article above.

I wish I could be more helpful in your endeavor to use Unbuntu with IQ Feed. I can verify that you need to run Wine to use Linux with the IQ Feed Client since the only officially supported operating systems for the IQ Client is Windows and MAC OS.

Using the IQ Feed Time and Sales application you can enable "Extended Trades" by going to Settings and under the General tab you will find a category called Display. You can check the box for Enable Extended Trades and it will allow you to receive these "Missing Trades". Please keep in mind this is only in our software.

You would need to check with the support team for whatever 3rd party software you are using to see how you would enable Extended Trades in their software.

IQ Feed sends trade conditions in our tick data labeled " Implied Trade". You can see this in our Time and Sales Application after turning ENABLE EXTENDED TRADES in the settings. It is also passed through our API information.

The non-qualified volume is more general, however ICE and some other European exchanges currently send implied trades. For example CME group used to send implied trades, but this could change in the future.

In regards to your mapping question, are you speaking about the IQ API?

This is last qualifying vs. non-last qualifying trades (implied). These implied trades are mostly from the spread market and are deemed non-last qualifying per the exchange. These implied are also excluded from setting highs or lows, only implied volume is included in the day’s total.

We have corrected BABA historical daily data. There is an upcoming stock split that will occur before July 2020 which will affect our daily data.


Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. plans a one-to-eight share split, as the e-commerce giant prepares for a stock sale that could be Hong Kong’s largest since 2010.

China’s largest company is proposing to increase the number of ordinary shares eight-fold to 32 billion, it said in a statement. The proposal will be discussed and put to a vote at its annual general meeting in Hong Kong on July 15. If approved, the split should take place no later than July 2020.

When pulling history there is no way to tell the underlying contract.

When pulling streaming data the correct month is listed in the contract description, however there is no direct indication of the underlying contract.
