I am trying to connect to IqFeed on ubuntu 18.04

I am using WINE 3.0.4 and IqFeed is installed through WINE

I am getting following error

NO CLIENTS CONNECTED SINCE STARTUP. SHUTTING DOWN IN 30 SECONDS

Can anyone help how I can use IQFeed on ubuntu?

Thanks,

There is some other recent activity on how to start up the agent. In addition, there needs to be a client running and connected to the agent to keep it running. I usually just startup the snapquote and select any old symbol to monitor.

I tried this approach too but no success

I started snapquote it asked for credentials but no snapshot after entering symbol

I started IQConnect again but still not data in snapquote window

I wish I could be more helpful in your endeavor to use Unbuntu with IQ Feed. I can verify that you need to run Wine to use Linux with the IQ Feed Client since the only officially supported operating systems for the IQ Client is Windows and MAC OS.

Saifullah,

That log entry (assuming it continues counting down to 0) means the IQFeed app is failing to connect locally. This can be caused by something interfering with the traffic. Make sure the subnet is open on the following port ranges:

66.112.156.XXX ports 5000 - 5050 and 60000 - 60050
66.112.148.XXX ports 5000 - 5050 and 60000 - 60050

Sincerely,
