"Just a quick one to say I'm very impressed so far :) The documentation for developers is excellent and I've quickly managed to get an app written to do historical downloads. The system is very robust and pretty quick considering the extent of data that's available. The support guys have been very helpful too, in combination with the forums it's been plain sailing so far!" - Comment from Adam

Guys, any response on this please?

Thanks.

IQFeed Developer Support » Unstable connection to IQFeed from .NET Apr 13, 2005 11:27 AM (Total replies: 12)

I'm having the same problem, although only on a machine running WinXP Pro, not on one running Win2000 Pro.

Thanks to AlexBellrock for the workaround.

Any update to the release date? It would be good to get this sorted out.

IQFeed Developer Support » .NET Examples not working Apr 13, 2005 11:16 AM (Total replies: 1)

First of all, congratulations on a nice product. I have been using it successfully for a little while now. :)

I have two machines. On one machine all the pre-supplied examples (.NET, VC++, DDE, etc) all work fine. This is useful as I can then use the source code to see how everything works. On my other machine, all the examples work fine except the .NET examples, which is a pain because I write mostly in C#.

When I launch the C# example, the windows form (CSharp Level1 Socket) opens correctly, the IQ Feed log-in dialogue opens and connects correctly, the blue IQ Connection Manager icon displays in the taskbar, but then instantly disappears, indicating that the connection is gone.

This only happens with the .NET examples and only on one (new) machine. Any suggestions?
