If I make a request using the TCP/IP interface such as "HT,ESV,1;" I will get the correct data terminated by an "!ENDMSG!" line. However, if I send another request on the same connection such as "HT,RIG,1;" I immediately get a "!SYNTAX_ERROR!" response. This occurs both within my Java program and from a telnet session.

Has anybody else seen this problem? Any ideas what could be going on?

Don't hit the enter key, or send a cr/lf. The ';' is the activation character.
