There seems to be a data error on the week of 12/24/2004 for SP500.X -- see the attached chart.
Also, my history does not go back farther than 2004 for this symbol. The SPX.XO symbol, however, does not have this error, and has historical data back much farther. Why are the two not identical?

Hi Josh,
Thanks for pointing out the bad tick in the SP500.X - that has now been repaired.
Theoretically, the two indexes are the same, but the SPX.XO comes from the CBOE and we have had that one longer. Market Data Services tells me that the history for that was filled in long ago and that it why it shows more. Thanks again.

Thank you for fixing this; when renewal time comes around I will just get the SPX.XO real-time as it's about the same price and then I will have complete historical data. In the meantime I will use SPX.XO for long term historical data and my real-time SP500.X for live data.
