I've read the command line examples for C++ and .Net. Since there is no mention of Java I assume I'm on my own as far as using Java is concerned?

I'd like to know if it is possible to connect to IQFeed without using IQConnect.
I want to use the native Java net classes to make the connection. I'd like to keep
my product platform free. I can use the Java TCP/IP stack classes. I just need
some direction.
