I'm sorry, we need to correct our earlier posting -- IQFeed is indeed showing the various ticks at 85.39 on 2/3/20, albeit as "extended trades," which by default are not displayed in the Time & Sales window. To turn on Extended trades, you will need to go into the T&S Settings, and under the General tab, check the box for "Enable Extended Trades."

Hi Aaron, the "sorry, your product and/or service for the attempted login are incorrect" is not typically associated with a bad connection. While a connection problem can trigger it, more often it means that there is a problem communicating with an application/software, i.e. either the software is unsupported or there is a process hangup between the two products.

It's certainly possible that you have an internet connectivity problem that is outside the scope of IQFeed support. However, you may also want to reach out to us again in chat so that we can get more details from you, to determine if something else is happening here.

Is it only the IQFeed client that fails to connect, or do you lose all internet connectivity when switching to an Ethernet connection? If it's everything, you will need to check with your Internet Service Provider. If it's only IQFeed, try restarting your PC after switching from Wi-Fi to the ethernet connection.

Paid subscribers can download 180 calendar days of tick (except during US equity market hours, 9:30am-4:30pm, M-F, during which time tick history is limited to 8 days), 10+ years of minute, and 15+ years of daily history.

With the IQFeed core service, you can see delayed data and history on most exchanges, which is why you are able to see ES. However, that's not true of all exchanges. Notable exceptions are NYMEX and COMEX, which charge $1/month each for their delayed data. Also, most exchanges charge a small fee for their index data, delayed or otherwise. Our data alone will not notify you of a symbol change. IQFeed publishes a daily list of "US Stocks - Changes" at www.iqfeed.net, under the Notifies section of our symbol guide page, but this is not a historical compendium of all previously used symbols. I'm sorry, I don't believe we have such a list. You may need to check the investor relations section of a company's website. You're also welcome to reach out to our support staff to help you in your research.

Hello salemreyen,

IQFeed streaming is 24 hours a day. US stocks' premarket trading is 4am-9:30am (Eastern), normal trading is 9:30am-4pm, and after-hour trading is 4pm-8pm. The news feed is also 24 hours a day but dependent upon the news providers.
