IQFeed Developer Support » python proper format to request data Dec 19, 2017 09:08 AM (Total replies: 2)

Hello! I am new to the forum and to DTN API. I am using python. I have successfully connected but I am having trouble getting data. If I want to receive in real time volume bars, I subscribe to port 9400.

How do you format this [],B['C'],[symbol],[DateTime],[Open],[High],[Low],[Last],[CummulativeVolume],[IntervalVolume],[NumberOfTrades] into an acceptable request ?

I am just asking for an simple example (not particularly the one above) so that I can have a pattern to follow.

Thanks!

Eric Winiecke
