"Everything is working great ! Very impressive client. The news refreshes better and is more pertinent than the ******* feed I paid $ 100/month for. I Also like the charts a lot." - Comment from Leon
"Everything is working amazing now. I'm already impressed with the true-tick feed of IQFeed and it's ability to support my 480 symbol layout." - Comment from Tyler via Email
"Boy, probably spent a thousand hours trying to get ******* API to work right. And now two hours to have something running with IQFeed. Hmmm, guess I was pretty stupid to fight rather than switch all this time. And have gotten more customer service from you guys already than total from them… in five years." - Comment from Jim
"Thanks for the great product and support. During this week of high volume trading, my QuoteTracker + IQ Feed setup never missed a beat. Also, thanks for your swiftness in responding to data issues. I was on ******* for a few years before I made the switch over early this year, and wish I had done it a long time ago." - Comment from Ken

Data and Content Support » history class.listening to two events Oct 24, 2006 11:53 AM (Total replies: 1)

I'm using c# and com interop. I noticed that if I listen to two events that the component will throw an exception. Someone else posted about this in 2004 but there was not a response. Is there a fix for this now?

history = new DTNHISTORYLOOKUPLib.HistoryLookup2Class();
history.DayReceived += new DTNHISTORYLOOKUPLib._IHistoryLookup2Events_DayReceivedEventHandler(history_DayReceived);
.....

history.DayRequestCompleted += new DTNHISTORYLOOKUPLib._IHistoryLookup2Events_DayRequestCompletedEventHandler(history_DayRequestCompleted);

using Com interface.daily request. It does not matter which symbols. Each attempt has been on a different group of symbols . After 5-20 symbol data comes back it will stop retrieving anymore.

IQFeed Developer Support » Beta releases Oct 23, 2006 11:05 AM (Total replies: 6)

I installed IQFeed Developer, BETA version 4.2.0.2 (10/20/2006) and my application stopped working. I reinstalled the previous version and everything is fine.

I did not install the Beta client. is it a requirement to install both the developer and the client for it to work?

Data and Content Support » hostory retrieval Oct 23, 2006 10:44 AM (Total replies: 5)

I am trying to fill in some history for some symbols. I am able to get back history (open/close) for maybe 5 to 22 symbols before it stops receiving. I then have to reconnect to the server and then I can proceed. I am using c# in vs 2005. no exceptions being thrown on the .NET side. I am Not using the latest Beta download. Any ideas?
