"I started a trial a few weeks back before the market went wild. DTN.IQ didn’t miss anything and beat my other provider. I decided to stay with you because of the great service through all the volatility." - Comment from Mike
"Boy, probably spent a thousand hours trying to get ******* API to work right. And now two hours to have something running with IQFeed. Hmmm, guess I was pretty stupid to fight rather than switch all this time. And have gotten more customer service from you guys already than total from them… in five years." - Comment from Jim

IQFeed 3rd Party Software Support » IWM - delayed data symbol ? Jul 25, 2007 09:19 AM (Total replies: 1)

I have authorized access to AMEX and have no problem with other AMEX symbols such as EWT, SPY, etc. But with IWM, I can not get real time data stream on QuoteTracker or Qcollector for DTN. There is a flag in Qcollector indicating IWM has 20-min data delay.

Interesting, if I use manual update or refill on IWM (for both QT and Qcol ), I can get up to date data. Why is IWM being singled out not to have real time data stream?

IQFeed 3rd Party Software Support » Qcollector - seconds time stamp Jul 24, 2007 10:52 AM (Total replies: 1)

Hi,

This is for Qcollector. I noticed that sometimes the seconds time stamps for trade ticks become available in the timed update real time data collection later on in the day, although there is none in the beginning of the collection. How can I consistently get the seconds time stamps?

Are the seconds time stamps going to be available on the historical tick data too? if not, when will it be available?

Thank you.

IQFeed 3rd Party Software Support » Qcollector - No seconds time stamp !! Apr 12, 2007 04:33 PM (Total replies: 4)

I am very unpleasantly surprised, after paying $50 extra per month, to find out that Qcollector realtime and historical tick data do not come with the seconds time stamp. The interesting finding is that QuoteTracker does have the seconds time stamp for both real time and historical tick data. After contacting tech supports for both IQFeed and Qcollector, the answer is IQFeed server does not send out this data, and this feature will be implemented either in a month or later this year. BTW, the tech supports replied to my inquiries very promptly.

I did not do a trial as I expected the seconds time stamp to be a fundamental feature for real time data streams. I did not have this problem with eSignal before switching to IQFeed.

Of course, I am pushing for this to be implemented ASAP. Anyone else hoping for the feature please also post. Thank you.
