It would be nice to have the ability to tell IQFeed what data we DONT want to receive. For example, I am not so concerned about changes to the bid/ask prices or extended trades. It would be nice to tell that to the IQFeed server up front and simply never even receive these updates. It would be less burdensome on my socket handler and would reduce the load on the IQFeed servers as well.

Overall, I think disabling portions of the feed that people don't want to see is a win/win situation. We save on unnecessary processing and iQFeed can get more users for same bandwidth.
