Hi,

this is in reference to "Update/Summary Message Format" table, and Field # 18

In the case when the time format is *NOT* HH:MM:SSt is the information in the field 8 relevant ?
Or in other words I want to make sure only messages that have the format HH:MM:SSt in the field 8 are actual trade ticks.
Thanks,

Just to make sure everyone reading this is clear.

This is the current beta documentation (version 4.2.1.3).
The current production documentation (4.2.0.7) still has the format as HH:MMc. This has technically been incorrectly documented since the release of 4.x.

We have new server software comming online soon that will start providing seconds in the timestamp. The format you are going to see on the production servers is still HH:MMc. As soon as the pre-production servers make the switch to production, you will start getting times in the format HH:MM:SSc.

Concerncing the specifics in this thread.

The time portion of this field should always be the time of the most recent trade.

The time portion of this field does not update for bids and asks.

Trades vs. bids vs. asks vs. extended trades are designated by the single character at the last position in the field.

Can you please give a specific date as to when the second resolution in the timestamp will be running in production?

Thank you.
