There is a problem with IQFeed Client whereby a maximum of only 400-500 symbols can be fed into Tradestation 2000i using HyperServer Lite. Any more than this and 'Access Violation' and other memory related errors occur in HyperServer. Robert Giordano of HyperTrader contacted DTN on the 22nd of July, and a response was given the next day that this was likely a bug with IQFeed Client and not a problem with HyperServer Lite (see thread here: http://forum.hypertrader.ws/showthread.php?t=148). When will this problem with IQFeed Client be fixed so the full 1200 symbols can be used with HyperServer and Tradestation 2000i? Many thanks, Brendan

Brendan,
Sorry for the delay in responding. Our IQFeed developers are looking into this along with other issues. I think the response was misworded a bit when we said it was "likely" and IQFeed. It really should have said it is "possible" that it is an IQFeed bug and we will look into it. Since we don't have tradestation internally, it is a bit harder to test, so we are going through the code of the IQFeed client instead to ensure there aren't any limitations on the interface HyperServer is using that may cause this. In that process, we have cleaned up quite a bit of the code. This may take care of the issue. We are still testing internally, and hope to have a client release out shortly that should resolve many issues that have been reported.
Thanks for your patience.
