I am seeing strange behavior when I try to monitor @TXZ4 - the December Topix Index (CME).
Even though the market ought to be open (1:20 pm EST) I am being given Bid Ask and Last of 0.0.
Any ideas?
Matthew

I am sure our market data group will chime in, but looking at this issue it doesn't look like it has traded or quoted yet. All we have from the exchange is a close/settlement, which is at 926.00. Checking other sources shows the same. Our market data group may have some more information after researching a bit for you.

I still haven't received any information as to why there is no trade information in the quote for @TXZ4 (December Topix index).
Anyone have any ideas?
Matthew

I've been looking for any instances of trades for this symbol, and can't find any - just settlements (which aren't included in Time & Sales). Do you have any specific days that you know trades occurred that we're not showing? Even a chart from CME's website shows only settlements, no trade activity) for the history of this contract. ( http://legacy.futuresource.com/partners/cme/chart.asp?period=D&symbol=TX1!) Thanks, Tim Russell Software Engineer DTN IQ & FinWinEdited by DTN_Tim_Russell on Oct 5, 2004 at 09:47 AM

This contract does not trade. It only receives a settlement each day. This has been confirmed on CME website and competing data vendor sources.
Thanks MDS dept.
