To access data via iqfeed api, I need to have a windows machine or an emulator?

IQFeed does require WINE, or an emulator service, to run on a Linux or Mac machine. Our Mac installer packages WINE with the installer to make this process easier for you.

I don't think IQFeed will work for your needs, but I will escalate your request and we will examine what options we have available for you.

The concern I see is not so much that, it is the exchange requirements associated with how you are using the data, but those are things that you and the sales team can discuss more should you decide to come back to us. Thanks again for the interest though in either case.

you are right, that is between sales and me...so another question..do you have api keys? is your request response json/xml?

Yes, a key is required. We do not support json or xml.

All messages are sent as csv strings. Once you have signed up for the API you can access samples for all requests and returns as well as sample code.
