I have some legacy c++ code (VS 2005) I am trying to integrate with IQ Feed. I have downloaded the sample code, read the Quick Start Guide and the API docs pages, but what I am struggling with is how to add references to my project to be able to call the functions. Is there something I am missing? I was expecting to find something along the lines of setting up a new C++ project to talk to the API. Thanks!

Hello,
There is nothing that needs or can be included as a reference for our API. You simply need to create a socket to whatever interface you would like and then it is just a matter of sending strings back and forth across the sockets via TCP.
There are no functions as you may be used to seeing with a rest api.
