In order to improve consistency within our symbology in DTN.IQ and IQFeed, US and Canadian equity warrant symbol formats will be changing effective the weekend of September 16th. The current symbol for warrants will change from having a “+” at the end of the symbol (ie. AIG+), to now ending in “.WS” (ie. AIG.WS). For various classes of stock warrants, the class indicator will follow the “.WS” (ie. BAC.WS.A or BAC.WS.B instead of the current symbols of BAC+A or BAC+B).

If you are watching any warrants from US or Canadian markets, please be sure to change your symbols during the weekend of September 16th to continue receiving data. US Equity Warrants:
DYN+ --> DYN.WS
DYN+A --> DYN.WS.A

C.NDM+ --> C.NDM.WS
C.NDM+A --> C.NDM.WS.A
C.NDM+B --> C.NDM.WS.B

Please note that due to a change in schedule by the exchanges, this change is now scheduled for the weekend of October 1. Please be sure to change your symbols during the weekend of October 1 to ensure you are receiving data October 2.
