From the Deutsche Bourse website:
The TECDAX Index tracks the performance of the Prime Standard´s 30 largest companies of the technology sector that, in terms of order book turnover and market capitalization, rank below those included in the DAX share index. The index is based on prices generated in Xetra, the electronic trading system.
