There is no NAV reported for closed end funds. Will this be added in the future?

Thanks,

David

David,

Most, if not all CEF's are traded on NYSE, but also have another symbol that has the NAV. The NYSE symbol doesn't have a NAV provided by the exchange. Thus, you need to use the Mutual Fund symbol for the fund in order to get the NAV. I don't know if it is standard for all symbols, but it looks like if you wrap the NYSE symbol with an X on each side, you will get the Nasdaq symbol. ie, BJZ on nyse and XBJZX for the fund to get the NAV.
