I have been posting questions and request for a while now. I don't know why but some of my post are not showing up on the board. Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong here? After I type my message I preview it and then post it. So why is it that my post are not being processed? I have reviewed the one I have put up and don't see my name on it, I see the subject and that's it.
Is there any instructions how to use this? One other question I have is even though I can't see it
someone at DTN does and responds to it. How come you can see it but no one else can? I think
it would be better if you responded to a post like this with a copy of the original message so others get the full intent of the message.

Thanks for your help!

I am not sure why some of the posts are coming through without the message. The message is getting emailed in notifications, but doesn't seem to be recorded to the forums. It definately appears to be a bug in the forums software, but I have been unable to figure out the parameters in which it occurs.

The reason we see it is because many employees receive emails when messages are posted. Other users too can turn on this option by going into your profile on the forums and choosing the forums for which you wish to receive email notifications.

This happens to me too. I know the cause - don't know the cure...

After logging in and when you open the 'Edit box' to post a reply or do a new message if you take too long in composing the message the response does not get posted - just a blank message - the title remains.

I have learned to do the message and if a long time in composing I copy it to the clip board and then post. If it doen't appera correctly, I re-log in and then paste the message into a new response box and then post again. It is a pain but it works.

It appears there is a time-out tht occurs if you are in an edit box too long. I have not encountered this in the general forum, but there I usually am 'clicking around'.
