Some questions on retrieving news headlines using the TCP/IP sockets interface:

1) Is there a way to request headlines for all sources rather than having to list all of the types?

2) The xml response includes the timestamp in the text element as well as in a separate timestamp element. This makes it harder to parse the xml and integrate it with headlines that come from the streaming socket (which do not include the time in the headline). Is there a way to avoid this timestamp?

Thanks

1) Unfortunately there is not. We will consider this for future development.

2) This problem has been identified internally but higher priority development has prevented it from being fixed. We do not have a good date for when this will be fixed.
