Effective this evening, we will be increasing the amount of historical data available on DTN.IQ and IQFeed to a maximum of 3000 datapoints. Currently, we are only making available 1000 datapoints, but that will be increased tonight. On most stocks, this will allow you to see daily historical data going back to 1996.

DTN.IQ is hard coded to always return the maximum amount of data for daily charts, so all users will automatically see this increase in data starting tomorrow. IQFeed developers and users of 3rd party software will need to ensure their software supports the ability to access this increased amount of data.
