Travis -Interested User- Posts: 9 Joined: Jun 12, 2007	Posted: Jul 1, 2007 08:21 AM Msg. 1 of 5 Hi, Has anyone been able to use TS2000i with receiver 8080 with a computer that has no serial port? Have tried several USB to Serial port adapters but didn't work. In Global Server instead of getting "Connection" I get "Initialized". What does that mean? Is it possible for TS2000i to see COM5 in PCMCIA, in case could get adapter for that? Thanks for any clues. Travis

Is there any reason why you are not using the Ethernet port? That is what we would recommended using to connect the DTN 8080 to the pc. If your pc only has one Ethernet card, and you are using that for internet it is fairly simple and very inexpensive to add another Ethernet card.
