In particular this is interesting for futures. As for tick size: The "price format code" (fundamental data) probably is right place to look up the size of a tick, right ? Most of our customers who trade futures (a large majority of our customers) already know the specs of a contract if they are trading it. Other than that, they would need to visit the exchange to obtain official contract specifications. We do provide the display and precision indicators for futures contracts so you know how to process the quotes/trades (64ths, half of 64ths, etc). Jay Froscheiser DTN Market Access, LLC.

I'm a bit lost on the option "6, decimal (display as specified by the precision)", since options 11 thru 19 hold all potential decimal values. What's the meaning of option 6 ?
