Guys,
If I try access iqfeed client software from remote machine I'm getting connection refused exception. iqfeed is running on windows instance, but I'm running from Ubuntu so I need connect to client software hosted on windows.
telnet localhost 9100 // works from local machine telnet 100:100:100:100 9100 // not works from remote machine (where 100:100:100:100 is real ip of the machine where iqfeed software launched).
More of that: telnet 100:100:100:100 9100 // not works even if I run from local machine.
So the only way I can connect to iqfeed client software is : telnet localhost 9100
Is it some internal software restriction? Can u help me with that?
Thank u.

Hello,
Yes, this is an internal restriction, due to exchange regulations, we have to limit it in this way.

Btw, IQConnect will run under WINE so you should be able to run it locally that way.

This post has been removed due to terms of service, both for DTN and the exchanges.
