The exception is: AppName: iqconnect.exe, AppVer 4.0.0.2, ModName: msvcrt.dll, ModVer: 7.0.2600.2180, Offset: 00037fd4 The command sent to the history port: NNT:8933400:CBW; This is a story about AMD's earnings today.

While IQFeed wouldn't have been able to display it anyway, we will add some additional error checking to IQConnect so it won't crash in the future. Thanks! However I do use NN for the query, the XML format so it may make a difference. Autodesk Reports Record Fourth Quarter Revenues of $417 Million WARNING: WARNING: IMPROPERLY FORMATTED STORY TEXT WARNING: STORY WILL NOT BE DISPLAYED WARNING: For some reason, news stories posted around earnings seem to have the worst formatting, and are the most imoprtant. :-) This one was from ADSK. Thanks for the fix!
