stargrazer -DTN Guru- Posts: 302 Joined: Jun 13, 2005 Right Here & Now	Posted: Feb 1, 2006 01:29 PM Msg. 1 of 7 Interactive Brokers has test accounts available so it is possible to test client software after market hours. Do you have a similar capablity of testing market streams throughout the course of the day? ie, are there streams and/or accounts I can watch outside of the 9:30 to 4:00 market hours so I can test and troubleshoot issues outside of the limited time frame? If not, anything in the works? Perhaps just one or two test symbols can be sent continuously for testing purposes.

I'd guess Forex futures might be good also, but I don't watch them.

DTN_Jay_Froscheiser -VP, Product Operations- Posts: 1746 Joined: May 3, 2004 DTN IQFeed/DTN.IQ/DTN NxCore	Posted: Feb 1, 2006 02:23 PM Msg. 5 of 7 If you can test with delayed data you are already getting the CME Emini delayed (try symbol @ESH6). Forex doesn't provide delayed data and you would need to sign up for either the basic or premium forex at www.iqfeed.net. You can also add Real time futures if you want to have the CME Emini in real time. However, for basic testing, you should be ok with the delayed data. Jay Froscheiser DTN - Trading Markets

About a week before it expires the June 2006 (@ESM6) will become the active contract. The Monday after expiration @ESH6 will be useless for testing whether you have real time or delayed quotes
