Hello,
how can i retrieve contract info for futures via api. I need the expiration date.

We provide the Expiration date in the fundamental message of level 1 data.

Is there a way to get the expiration date of old contracts?

Unfortunately not directly. You could do a daily history request for each and get the last day that the contract traded/settled though and that may work for you.
